NightLife on Lake AtitlanThere are lots of night clubs for the world Traveler on Lake Atitlan we all gotta party. Here are some tips...Panajechel has two clubs that do music every night and many that have live music on the weekends. Currently my favorite place is Las Piratas on Calle de los arboles. Formerly known as "Jacks Place". Jack supports the local artisanos and musicians and rightly so seems to have some of the best music. San Pedro is the second best town on Lake Atitlan for nightlife with many restaurants, bars, etc that do live music, dj's and more. I don't know specific clubs or music scenes so maybe some musician or bar will write me with more info about where to go for music and dance in San Pedro. Some of the other pueblos on Lake Atitlan have occasional nightlife, music, dance parties, dj's, performance art or whatever. You just gotta be around the lake ask the musicians and artists where the music scene is. |
